Tasty Kale Hummus Recipe

Tasty kale hummus recipe

Do you plan a picnic or do you need an easy and quick dip recipe for your party? This tasty kale hummus recipe is a perfect choice to dive into your crackers or as a spread. It is for me the best way to get all the benefits from hummus with extra kale inside.

It’s full of flavors, with only 6 ingredients!

This hummus recipe is a variant from the basic hummus. It is one of the most simple recipe, as all you need to do is basically to blend the ingredients altogether.

What ingredients do you need for this recipe?

You’ll have most probably everything at home. You blend 1 can of chickpea, Tahini, 3 leaves of kale, 1 garlic clove, 1 lime, 1/2 avocado and a lot of spices (cumin, coriander, chili).

Then, if you run out of kale, you can use some spinach instead (still delicious and high in nutrients). This kale hummus recipe is a delicious way to eat your green.

It’s perfect if you want to vary your regular hummus and to impress your guests, with something healthy and creamy !

Finally if you are mad about colorful hummus, try out my pink beetroot hummus too. It’s so easy and incredibly tasty (and the deep red color is a must).

Top Tip about kale

You know how I love kale, the “queen of green”.

It has a lot of benefits, so it is always a great idea to add kale into your meals. I found 4 reasons for that, kale is (1) high in fiber and has zero fat, (2) high in iron, Vitamin C, calcium and Vitamin A (3) it has a lot of antioxidants (4) and kale is well known as a great detox food.
