This is a lovely rosemary detox water recipe to stay hydrated the whole day, with a natural flavor.
I have learned through my retreats that staying hydrated is a very important key for health. So detox water is a fancy and an innovative way to drink my 8 to 10 glasses of water (and more in hot countries) throughout the day.
I love detox water because you infuse your water with a few ingredients (fruits, vegetables or herbs). You boost the taste, make it beautiful, then drink more and you help yourself to cleanse your body. It is colorful and there is a ton of different combinations!
While you stay hydrated, you improve your mood and energy levels and it helps as well for a healthy digestive system.
Rosemary detox water with a twist of lemon, is one of my favorite flavored water.
On the other side, I use to add lemon and blueberries or strawberries for kids water bottle and they are so proud of it at school!
I promise this detox rosemary water will be a success at home and amongst your friends and guests !
Top Tip
If you add lemon like I do, it helps to flush harmful toxins. And rosemary has an antioxidant effect and a lovely flavor.
The most popular combo I love for infused water, are : cucumber/mint/lemongrass, lemon/lime/ginger, lemon/cayenne pepper, watermelon/mint, orange/blueberries, strawberry/basil and apple/cinnamon !
Don’t hesitate to crush and bruise fruits and herbs to release more flavors!
Fresh fruits only ?
Another option is to add dehydrated fruits to your water. I have already tried with : dehydrated apples, dehydrated orange slices or grapefruit. I have noticed that while using dehydrated fruits, the taste is stronger and so lovely.

ROSEMARY DETOX WATER
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ liter fresh water
- 2 sprigs organic rosemary
- Few slices organic lemon, cucumber and lime
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash well the ingredients and place them into your pitcher full of fresh and clear water. Place it in the fridge for an hour to let the water infused with the flavors, before to serve.
- Don't keep it more than 1 day to keep the freshness of the cucumber and lemon.
