This spirulina smoothie bowl recipe is made with frozen banana and kiwis, topped with chia seeds and coconut flakes.

This spirulina smoothie bowl is part of the healthy bowls family. It is the best. It is perfect for breakfast and I have been making it over and over. It is loaded with 3 amazing superfoods: spirulina, hemp powder and chia for the topping.

The ingredients are actually very simple : frozen banana, kiwi and the superfood powder.

Because I often don’t know what to eat before or after workout, this is the perfect meal, packed with proteins. As I love working out, this spirulina smoothie bowl is nourishing and keeps me energized for the rest of the day.

Thanks to its ice-cream like texture, it’s delicious ! It is like a treat. The recipe is basic and very simple. It literally takes 5 min to prepare it ! What else do you need to try it out?

SPIRULINA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Smoothie bowl is a great alternative to any bread or gluten breakfast. This bowl made of 4 ingredients is powerful and keeps you full for a long time.

INGREDIENTS

BOWL

  • 1 ½ frozen banana
  • 2 fresh kiwis
  • 1 tbsp hemp powder or seeds
  • ½ tbsp spirulina

TOPPING

  • 1 ½ tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes (organic and unsweetened)
  • ½ kiwi

INSTRUCTIONS

BOWL

  • Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend (not too long) until it has a creamy texture.

TOPPING

  • Decorate with the topping ingredients.
