How did it all start?
Remember when Theresa and I started this blog adventure back in 2016? We had a blast creating content together! But life has a funny way of throwing curveballs, and eventually, our paths diverged.
Even though, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Live and Taste had a special place in people’s hearts. And as I discovered my true passion for sharing plant-based recipes, I knew it was time to double down on this amazing journey. So here I am, excited to continue bringing you delicious, inspiring content!
A little bit more about me
I’m Laetitia, a Belgian-born lawyer turned plant-based foodie. After years of juggling a demanding career, motherhood, and a move to Bahrain, I finally had the chance to rediscover my love for cooking and healthy eating.
Post-pregnancy, I embarked on a fitness journey and transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle. It was a game-changer! I started experimenting in the kitchen, crafting delicious, plant-based recipes that made me feel amazing. Along the way, I became a bit of a nutrition nerd, diving deep into research and articles.
That’s when the idea for Live and Taste was born. I’m thrilled to share my plant-based culinary adventures with you and inspire others to embrace a healthier, happier way of life.
The way I eat (is my blog)
Forget labels and diets. My lifestyle is all about conscious eating and mindful consumption. It’s about nourishing my body with whole, unprocessed foods and embracing a plant-based approach whenever possible.
I’m a big fan of incorporating raw foods and superfoods into my daily routine. And let’s talk about sugar β I’m a proud white sugar-free household! I also limit dairy (almost completely) and gluten as much as possible.
This way of eating isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about feeling vibrant and glowing from the inside out. It’s a lifestyle choice that fuels my energy, creativity, and overall well-being, especially since I am an early menopausal woman.
What do I love the most?
I’m a total foodie with a passion for healthy, homemade cooking. I love discovering new flavors and experimenting with different ingredients. I could chat about healthy eating and recipes all day long!
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me soaking up the sun by the water, exploring nature, hanging out with animals, or jet-setting to new destinations. I’m also a fitness enthusiast, with a love for pole fitness, power yoga, and Pilates. And if you need home decor inspiration, I’m your girl β I’m obsessed with plants and interior design.
What are my favorite recipes from the blog Live and Taste?
I love them all. This blog simply reflects what I am and what I love. It’s my own cookbook reflecting how tasty and fun it is to cook plant-based recipes.
From my morning breakfast starting with chia coconut pudding, crunchy homemade granola or a green smoothie bowl to my vegan poke bowl for lunch and an asparagus strawberry salad for dinner. And I always save room for dessert, have a look at my sweet treats too. They are to die for.
