It’s an easy dairy-free yogurt perfect for breakfast, 100% vegan and with a creamy texture thanks to the tofu. Not to mention the protein addition for this delicious creamy breakfast!

Being plant-based means for me avoiding animal products. And this includes all dairy products. But this can be tricky sometimes. Today is the day I fell in love with this new easy yogurt recipe with tofu, I have tried one day at home. Delicious and incredibly easy to make in the morning, I thought sharing it with you.

Non-dairy yogurts are sometimes expensive, so to celebrate life I share this healthy breakfast made of silken tofu (for a lovely creamy texture) and strawberries (for vitamins). If the strawberries are in season and juicy, you don’t need to add any sweetener. If it’s winter, this recipe works well with frozen strawberries.

It is a great alternative to change your routine (even if you eat dairy) just to swap and try something so tasty and new.

That being said, the texture is amazingly smooth. This is pure genius for a 5-minute recipe, perfect for a plant-based breakfast high in quality protein and a quick snack.

Favorite topping for this dairy-free yogurt?

Elevate your yogurt bowl by adding your favorite toppings. Some of my go-to choices include juicy strawberries, sweet blueberries, refreshing mint, and delicate rose petals.

Another favorite is to freeze one whole apple the day before in the freezer and grate it on top. Refreshing and a new delicious texture.

Top Tip

After doing research on tofu, you can choose for yourself whether you want to include it in your diet or not.

But the new research made on tofu shows that it has many benefits, especially for vegetarians or vegan peopl(tofu Top Tip)

Everything is about balance and harmony. So if you have a balanced diet, there is no worry at all. And if you have a doubt about missing a thing, go for a blood test. I do it regularly myself.

What type of tofu do I use for this recipe?

You have 2 different types of tofu : silken or block. The process is slightly different. Then, in these 2 categories, (silken or block) tofu can still be firm, semi-firm, or soft. The ideal for my recipe would be to go for any silken tofu or a soft block tofu. The silken/soft block tofu is the key to getting this extremely creamy texture in this delicious yogurt recipe. All details regarding the types of tofu can be found here.

I am always buying non-GMO tofu and organic or you could try to find somebody near you who is doing its own tofu ! That would be fabulous.
